The Talented Tamblyns

Actress Amber Tamblyn (TV's Joan of Arcadia, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) stars in the new primetime detective series The Unusuals. She is the daughter of actor Russ Tamblyn, who played "Riff," leader of "The Jets," in the classic movie West Side Story. Amber's quirky character on The Unusuals, "Detective Casey Shraeger," was born into a wealthy, blue-blooded family, making her career choice an "unusual" one for such a pampered princess. The April 2009 box-office release Hannah Montana: The Movie stars teen superstar Miley Cyrus and her real-life father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who also play father and daughter on the hit TV show. The movie is set and was filmed in their home state of Tennessee. In addition, co-star Emily Osment is the sister of actor Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense, Forrest Gump).
