British bombshell Kate Beckinsale is getting her daughter in on the acting action. 8-year-old Lily Mo Sheen will play the younger version of her mother's character in the 2009 film entitled Everybody's Fine, which also stars Robert DeNiro. Joaquin Phoenix Says "Goodbye" to Acting

Apparently, he took his role as legendary country crooner Johnny Cash in Walk the Line pretty seriously. The 34-year-old actor has announced that he is officially giving up movies to become a musician. Senator Caroline Kennedy?

Caroline Kennedy, the only surviving child of JFK and Jackie O, has her sights set on Hillary Clinton's soon-to-be vacant Senate seat. Hillary has recently been officially tapped as the next Secretary of State by President-elect Barack Obama. The decision will ultimately be made by New York Governor David Paterson. Clinton's successor will have to run in 2010 to fill the last two years of her term, and then run for a full term in 2012. For more on the Kennedys, click here.

Culkin Family Tragedy

Sad news for the Culkin clan. 29-year-old Dakota Culkin, sister of actors Macaulay and Kieran Culkin and daughter of actor Kit Culkin, was tragically killed on December 10 in Los Angeles after stepping off of a curb and being struck by a car. Click here for more on the Culkins.

Britney's Back!

Former (and poised for a comeback) “Princess of Pop” Britney Spears opened up about her breakups and breakdowns Sunday on MTV. The hour-long special, titled "Britney Spears: For the Record" aired hot on the heels of Circus, her new album, which is slated for release tomorrow, December 2, 2008. The revealing documentary chronicled the recent updates in Britney’s life, including a behind-the-scenes look at living life with her father, Jamie, managing all of her affairs (both personal and professional).
