The Crocodile Hunter’s Daughter Turns Ten. . .And Bags Her First Emmy

Bindi Irwin, daughter of "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, starred with her famous father on her TV show, Bindi, The Jungle Girl. Following her father's tragic death from a stingray attack in 2006, seven-year-old Bindi carried forward on her own. Now, two years later, she has proven her talents by winning the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series. Not bad for a girl who just turned 10 this week. The base of operations for the Crocodile Hunter, and now for his daughter, is the Australia Zoo in Queensland, Australia, owned and operated by the Irwin family.
