Bindi Irwin, daughter of "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, starred with her famous father on her TV show, Bindi, The Jungle Girl. Following her father's tragic death from a stingray attack in 2006, seven-year-old Bindi carried forward on her own. Now, two years later, she has proven her talents by winning the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series. Not bad for a girl who just turned 10 this week. The base of operations for the Crocodile Hunter, and now for his daughter, is the Australia Zoo in Queensland, Australia, owned and operated by the Irwin family. Actor Jonny Lee Miller has found success playing the lead role in the new hit drama Eli Stone. Perhaps this acclaim is long overdue following a series of roles since the late 1980s that have included supporting parts in cult classics such as Trainspotting and Hackers. In addition to his acting and his partnership in a production company with Ewan McGregor and Jude Law, Miller is an ex-husband of Angelina Jolie. Of course, Miller has family roots in showbiz--his grandfather Bernard Lee played “M” in the early James Bond movies. To see our posting on Jonny Lee Miller, click here.
