Long Live Rock & Roll

Led Zeppelin has officially announced a reunion concert at London's O2 Arena, November 26, 2007. The concert will benefit the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, and tickets are available by ballot only (you can register at http://www.ahmettribute.com/).

It's Angelina Jolie! As most people know, Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie (Girl, Interrupted, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider) is the daughter of Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight (Midnight Cowboy). Her brother James, who caused consternation when he and Angelina kissed each other on the mouth at the 2000 Oscars, is also an aspiring actor. Their mother, Marcheline Bertrand, was also an actress, appearing in films such as The Man Who Loved Women and Lookin' To Get Out.

According to the Mirror (a very reputable source), the always-charitable and ever-adopting Angelina says the one drug she hated the most was marijuana, because it made her giggle too much.

3:10 to Yuma tops box office sales, taking in $14 million its opening week. A remake of the 1957 classic, 3:10 to Yuma stars Christian Bale as a struggling rancher who agrees to help escort a notorious outlaw, played by Russell Crowe, to the train station. With the outlaw's accomplices in pursuit, the journey becomes a test of the rancher's courage and resolve. Peter Fonda (pictured right as McElroy) plays a supporting role as Byron McElroy, a bounty hunter who shares history with the film's antagonist (Crowe).

Acting is a Fonda family tradition - Peter Fonda is the son of Henry Fonda (Grapes of Wrath), sister of Jane Fonda (On Golden Pond), and father of Bridget Fonda (Single White Female). Jane Fonda is the mother of actor Troy Garity (Barbershop).
